For your entry, you can chose any song you like, and do an Evo illustration based on it. So be it Professor Xavier with Aqua's "Barbie Girl" or Jamie Madrox with Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's "Flight of the Bumblee"... Bring it on!

When posting your entry, list the song and the artist your image is based on. You don't have to explain yourself, but you do need to share THAT much.

FAN ART CHALLENGE
Hands
This is a contest aimed at an area that many artists struggle with: The hands. If you're like me, the hands are an area you leave for last, or gloss over a bit. Maybe you use the same hand pose over and over, or maybe you avoid drawing scenes in which your character has to hold a glass, or do a highfive, or the like.
Well! For this contest, the idea is to actually spend time on those hands! Make 'em look good! You don't have to have them be center to the image, like in the prompt, but definitely put some thought in to them.

In a bit of other Evo news, The ever amazing, awesome, talented and all round neat guy, Steven E. Gordon, just recently put out his second Expressions & Attitudes sketchbook. I don't want to say it's chock full o' Evo art, as that'd be a lie, but I'd also be lying if I said there wasn't plenty. More than in the first sketchbook- which is also worth a buy, even if it is scant on the Evo-ness. There are some character sheets you can find on line, and some unique-to-the-book sketches and character studies. For $20, you could spend it a lot worse, trust me.



We are still looking for another assistant in the submissions category. (you will get mod powers) If you are interested in this position, note with your application.

If you have other Evo work, that doesn't really belong in a contest, you can always submit it anyway We'll put it in our gallery...I am going to be disabling comments in the club's gallery, so the artist's gallery gets more attention...I mean, it's nice that you comment on it in the club's gallery, but it'd mean a lot more to the artist if you commented on it in their gallery, (I know it would for me) PLEASE KEEP YOUR WORK PG-13!!!

NOTE!!! Any submissions; whether it be for a contest or just the club's gallery, MAY NOT include any OCs (Original Characters) of any form. This is an "Evo Obsessed" club afterall...not an "Evo OCs Obsessed" club.

However....in light of recent submissions, other comic characters (Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, whathaveya) are allowed.

*IMPORTANT*
Ok....I give in.....Due to the nature of "Fan Fiction", OCs are allowed in there so long as the majority of characters are X-Men Evo Characters. This is at the discretion of me (~lilbustedsoccerchick) and Submission Mistress ~RedLina. If you have problems with this rule, note ~lilbustedsoccerchick not the club. Just to warn you, I am VERY stubborn, so I wish you luck with challenging this rule.

ADDITIONAL NOTE!!! It may take some time to get non-contest art put up in the cup gallery. Club mistress ~BlazeRocket is NOT incharge gallery submissions, so even if looks like the club has looked at your picture, and it's still not shown up in the gallery, that's because Blaze opened the note to make sure it wasn't a contest entry. She is very happy to fave your Evo stuff, but you'll have to wait for ~RedLina to update the gallery. Sorry for the inconvenience.
